Angular Contact Bearings stand up to some of the toughest conditions in the bearing world.
Heavy thrust loads; combined with high speeds, require a precise and well-built bearing. Maximum performance is achieved when all balls share the load equally. This means that every ball must match every other ball with exacting precision.
- Axis requires that all balls be Grade 10 or better: 2.5 times tighter tolerances than the industry standard.
- In addition, they forge the steel rings for strength and the raceways for speed, precision and low noise.
- Finally, a machined bronze cage allows higher speeds due to reduced friction and increased heat dissipation.
